Simms SolarFlex SunGlove is a half-finger sun glove with a long cut that covers the wrist. It’s for anglers who want UV protection and a little more durability in the spots that see the most line and abrasion, without giving up finger feel for knots and fly changes.
Simms uses SolarFlex fabric (92% polyester/8% spandex) and rates it UPF 50+. There’s a built-in stripping guard, plus suede overlays on the pointer and middle fingers for added protection. Pairing snaps keep the gloves together between days. If you want full-finger coverage or insulation, this isn’t that glove.
